Steps of Choosing the Right Course to Study in Albania
Albania has public and private higher education institutions offering a wide range of courses to study. Choosing the right course is a tough task. To make your decision easy and quick, here are some tips.
Step 1: Know your Interest and Skills
Find out your interest and career goals. Find out your skills and figure out the course that suits your interest.
Ask a few questions to yourself:
- Does this programme match my skills and interest?
- What do you want from the programme/course?
- What after this course?
- Why study abroad in Albania?
- Is this the best course for me?
Step 2: Search
Once you know the course you want to undertake, find out the
higher education institutions in Albania offering that course. Go through the official websites of the institutions offering that particular course of study. Know about the entry requirements, entrance exam (if any), application process and documentation, dates and deadlines, financial aid, course structure/content and credits, and so on.
Choose the institution that suits your needs.
Step 3: Apply to the University
If you meet the entry requirements of any university, apply to the university!

Step 4: Apply for Scholarships
Scholarships are offered to the Albanian as well as international students in order to study in Albania. The government and the higher education institutions offer scholarships. Step 5: Apply for Visa
International students who wish to study in Albania must apply for visa at their nearest
